Definitely do a guided tour (only by appointment. Eur 9 for 1.5 hours including 2 champagne tastings). Nice courtyard with catering. Very attractive sales room where you have the opportunity to try the sparkling wine.

I really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful courtyard and enjoying the well-chilled Cremant spritzer. The friendly service also brings various sparkling wines, cocktails and the classic Palatinate wine selection to the table, as well as small dishes such as tarte flambée or cheese cubes. When there is a lot going on you have to wait a bit, but you can endure it in the beautiful courtyard.

Castle Wachenheim. You know that from the supermarket. Or? No, man does not know that. Here in Wachenheim the editions are produced. Traditional bottle fermentation. Say: champagne.
